You can order an individually designed wedding cake, exclusive and unique to you. Or they can be copied from a picture of a wedding cake that you've found in a wedding magazine or similar, or you can choose from one of the cake designs on this web site.
Wedding Cake Decoration
Wedding cake can be decorated with edible sugar flowers, real or silk flowers to match your bouquet, sugar models of people eg. the bride and groom. Cakes can be hand painted (as seen in the wedding cake above) or you may even choose to decorate your cake with edible photos. The choice is yours.
Type of Wedding Cake
All wedding cakes are freshly baked and hand decorated to your individual order. Whether you want a modern or more traditional wedding cake, all types of wedding cake can be made. Tiered wedding cakes, cupcake weddings, wedding photo cakes are but a few options open to you. What flavour do you want? Choose from sponge cake or fruit cakes or even a combination. Sponge Cakes flavour suggestions are vanilla, lemon, carrot, chocolate, coffee and more, with flavoured buttercream fillings and jam (optional), or for chocolate cakes, instead of buttercream you may choose creamy chocolate ganache. Rich Fruit Cakes are made with real brandy (optional) and covered with marzipan (optional). All cakes are covered with soft fondant icing.
Size of Wedding Cake
The size of your cake depends on the number of portions you require to feed your guests. If you have a large number of guests this factor need not interfere with the look and style of your cake. You can have extra cake in the kitchen for extra servings. Sheet cakes are most economical and convenient to serve, and guests will not be able to tell the difference.
